Sports Physicals: What Parents Should Know
Help your child head into the season healthy, safe, and ready to play.
A sports physical helps ensure your child is healthy enough to participate in sports and physical activities. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends receiving sports physicals through your child’s pediatrician, where medical history, growth, and overall health can all be reviewed together.
Scheduling with your regular provider also allows for better continuity of care and more personalized recommendations.
If your child has had a well visit within the last year, it may already count as their sports physical and our office may be able to complete required paperwork without an additional appointment.

Monday - Friday | 8:00am- 5:00pm
Saturday | 9:00am - 1:00 pm
Summer Saturday Well Visits
- Available every Saturday from May through September
- For patients ages 10 and up
- Appointments will be offered by our provider team on a rotating schedule while maintaining continuity of care
Please note: our sick afternoon and evening hours will resume in November.
