Heather Steele, MHA, CPHQ, is the Practice Manager at Altitude Pediatrics, where she brings more than two decades of healthcare experience to helping kids and families feel cared for, supported, and seen. With a background in healthcare leadership and quality improvement, Heather loves using data, teamwork, and a little creativity to help the clinic run smoothly.
She earned her Master of Healthcare Administration from Colorado State University’s Global Campus and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Colorado Mesa University. Heather is also a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, a credential that reflects her commitment to elevating patient care and operational excellence.
She is happiest when connecting with people and finding ways to make care better for both patients and staff. She believes strong relationships, clear communication, and genuine compassion are at the heart of great pediatric care.
Outside the clinic, Heather can usually be found enjoying the outdoors hiking, camping, or soaking up the sunshine with her family. Reading, learning, and being a wife and mother to two wonderful boys bring her fulfillment. She is grateful to be part of the Grand Junction community and looks forward to connecting with families in the clinic or out on the trail.
