Lauren Carei, PA-C
Lauren Carei is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) with a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She graduated from the Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant Program at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, which provided additional training in pediatric care. Prior to that, she graduated summa cum laude with undergraduate degrees in biomedical science and chemistry from the University of Northern Colorado.
Lauren was born and raised in Grand Junction, Colorado, and knew she wanted to pursue a career in medicine from an early age. After graduating from PA school in 2014, Lauren happily returned to her hometown, and has been practicing in pediatrics ever since. She is a strong advocate for children and very passionate about improving the physical and mental health of the community.
Lauren enjoys speaking to her patients about nutrition and wellness and loves building long-term relationships with patients and families from all types of diverse backgrounds. She has a caring heart and a special desire to educate and heal.
When Lauren is not working, you can find her spending time in the great outdoors with her husband, who works as a middle school teacher for Mesa County Valley School District 51, and two sons.
